Should I buy Bitcoin?

Have I punished myself for long enough for ignoring the opportunity early on? Or should I stick to the same "rational reasoning" I listened to when a BTC cost $100?

  1. FOMO / make the same theoretical profit as my mates

  2. Underlying technology will be huge and practical use cases are going to marketing at a rapid pace (hype cycle will mature)

  3. Can finally join crypto chat w/ the boys

  4. Black market has an incentive to keep value up when proper alternative gains momentum, but do they carry enough weight?

  5. I can afford to lose +-$10k

  1. Won't be able to exit / won't take profit because of FOMO

  2. Bitcoin isn't feasible as a spending currency

  3. Transactions on Bitcoin block chain are expensive & slow

  4. I should have done this when I first heard of it in 2016. Am I trying to time downfall perfectly here?

  5. Exchanges are becoming more reliable, but are the protected against a sudden collapse? Probably not.

  6. Impact on environment
